Our client was charged with a felony violation of California Penal Code section 29800 [felon in possession of a firearm]. After only an hour and a half of deliberation, the jury acquitted him after they determined our client had no knowledge of the firearm in the vehicle.
Our client was charged with a felony violation of California Penal Code section 422 [criminal threats]. During trial, it was demonstrated to the jury that the alleged victim was a liar and he could not be trusted. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty.
Our client was charged with a two-count felony violation of California Penal Code section 245 (a)(4) [assault with a deadly weapon likely to cause great bodily injury], and Penal Code section 245 (a)(2) [assault with a deadly weapon]. At trial, our strategy was lack of identification. After several days of deliberation, the jury determined our client wasn’t there and acquitted him on all charges.
